Thought I share this one. It shows how we made this video as it was all shot on a sound stage and the finishing look!

So like a lot of people I tried out Adobe Premiere since apple decided to release Final Cut X. I must say I am very impressed. There were a few things that made me pull my hair at first, but after some google searches I found a video that explained the transition from Final Cut and made things easier. The video is by Walter Biscardi, Jr and I think it is a must for anyone transitioning from FCP to Adobe Premiere. Here is a link to it:

I went ahead and ordered the production premium from Amazon.com because I found it on there for half the price adobe offers it on their website. I was skeptic if I'm getting the real thing and if it's the full version. I got it today and it was authentic! I highly recommend ordering from there if you are on a budget! The only issue I ran into was the dynamic link did not work at first. So I did some research and learned that I had to trash the preferences of the trial version that I had on there I order for everything to work. It is all working great now so I am fully converted from FCP to CS5.5!

So I just finished making some commercials for James Coney Island. If you live in Houston you know who they are. They've got 21 stores all around Houston serving great hotdogs since 1923! It was a great production! Take a look and I will be writing more about how we made the spot in a later blog!

Here is a special effects explosion test I did. Wanted to give it a feel as the trash bag blew up from having gasoline inside it and heated up due to the sun. Looks very realistic and has fooled lots of people so far!
